Children in different classes took part in ten week courses with CF music. Year 2 took part in Toots, Year 5 did Violin and Year 6 did Brass. Lots of children who took part in these courses have continued on with group and individual lessons. 

We were also asked to take part in a pilot project in combination  with BBC National Orchestra of Wales and CF Music. Lots of children took part playing the instruments that they had started learning during their CF Music courses as well as instruments that they were already playing at home. We worked with Nick Whiting, a member of the BBC NOW, along with several of his colleagues to put together a musical celebration in the Village Hall. During the celebration, children from Year 2 to Year 6 took part, showcasing soloists, groups and ensemble music. 

BBC NOW members also came to do an assembly for the whole school where they played lots of different pieces. They also then worked with Year 6, who played along with them using their p-cornets.
